Beautiful square Victorian moss agate snuff box. The lid and base are made of high quality antique moss agate with beveled edges. Moss agate is a semiprecious gemstone which includes green colored minerals embedded in the stone, forming filaments and other patterns suggestive of moss. It has a tactile polish which only comes with great age & handling. The box is well made with good and secure opening function. PLEASE NOTE there is a diagonal crack toward the front left corner of the lid which is hard to see because of the moss patterning. This case is 1.25" square and holds one-quarter ounce (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
