Antique French quatrefoil hand painted and enamel ormolu compact. Front of the compact features a central hand painted floral bouquet surrounded by burgundy enamel with gold leaves, edged with green enamel studded with gold dots. The back of the compact features a burgundy enamel center surrounded by the green enamel studded with gold dots, bordered with burgundy enamel with gold leaves. The case is 1.5" by 1.5" and the perimeter has finely done textured pattern. Please note 2 tiny bits of missing enamel on front of case, one near hinge on top and one to the far left of the case. Original mirror with some aging surrounded by rope trim. The price includes 1/4 oz (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
