Superb octaganol sterling silver Indian Meenakari enamel snuff box from around 1900. Indian Meenakari enamel is beautifully executed and detailed in vivid colors. The lid is covered in a spectacular bouquet of detailed pink flowers and leaves. Around the sides are an exquisitely enameled tiger, an antelope and two different birds and flowers. The bottom sterling bottom of the box is engraving in a fanciful pattern. The inside of the box is vermeil: plated with gold. This finely-made box, in excellent condition, measures 1.6" by 1.3" and holds 1/4 oz. (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
