Exquisite oval Venetian millefiori micro mosaic snuff box beautifully detailed in vivid colors. Three beautiful flowers and leaves grace the lid. Millefiori technique uses solid color glass rods loaded into a tube, arranged so the cross sections form a pattern as the canes are heated and then inlaid. Encircling this brass box is a beautiful pattern of vines and flowers. This finely-made box, hallmarked "Italy", is in excellent condition! It measures 1.5" by 1.25" and holds 1/4 oz. (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
