Very rare: A trio of embossed irises decorate an antique sterling French patch box. A beautiful embossed iris solitaire on the front surrounded by fanciful embossed flourishes. Around the circumference two more finely detailed irises --- a bearded iris in bloom and a nascent bud with leaves. Finely tooled "pleated" embossing encircling the case. Two silver hallmarks on the inner rim. Original beveled mirror in very good condition. A tactile box of substantial and sumptuous gauge that feels good in the hand and closes with a satisfying snap. 1.5 inches across, and the price includes 1/4 oz (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
