Pear, Fir, and Coffee Body Oil & Hair Elixir

Best of 2012

Crisp fruit and Fall woods with an earthy back note. Our body oil & hair elixir is in a nourishing non-greasy base of moisturizing jojoba oil and fractionated coconut oil. This lightweight formula absorbs easily, immediately moisturizing, softening, and conditioning. Damp hair is the most vulnerable to frizz: our oil won't weigh hair down and seals the cuticle to prevents moisture from creating frizz. It leaves a veil of fragrance on your skin or in your hair that mixes beautifully with your own chemistry. As a hair elixir, apply a small amount to clean, towel-dried hair, from mid-length to ends, to nourish hair and give it extra luster.

It’s that quirky mix of notes, pear, fir and coffee, that excites my senses as this trio of fruity, balsamic, and earthy essences play against each other in a truly unique way. The luscious blend of fractionated coconut and jojoba oils provide superb hydration and act as excellent carriers for the botanical essences.

The oils have an astonishing texture, just enough slip to be able to get a good massage action going and for it to absorb well, but not so greasy that it leaves an oily residue. Skin is left plumped and dewy, feeling softer and more hydrated after a few hours. The calming compositions are brilliantly mesmerizing as the veil of scents last much longer than that of other oils.

“The abstract green feel and earthiness are beautifully balanced with a slight hint of some unwieldy sex appeal. The lightweight viscosity blends with endless waves into skin immediately while the unctuous silkiness softens fine lines and spotty dry patches. The body oil delights in being round, supple, and simply delicious. If a sexual punch can be restrained in a bottle, it's here.”

“Wow! That still is pear, fir and coffee and I’m liking it! Somehow these seemingly disparate notes work in concert to not only harmonize with each other but also allow each other room to shine as individual notes.”
