Superb!  Very rare red moss agate (Most moss agate is green!) double-sided rectangular Victorian snuff box. It is made from two different spectacular pieces of beveled red moss agate: the base piece shot through with golden highlights and the top with cream.There are no chips or cracks, which is amazing for a piece this old. The center section is copper covered with gold leaf gilt with two fine engine-turned decorative bands encircling the box. It has a tactile polish which only comes with great age & handling. This case is a 1.5" x 1.25" and holds one-quarter ounce (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
