(Styrax Tonkinensis from Morocco) Our Siam benzoin resinoid, a base note, has a flat, soft, rich vanilla aroma with sweet-spicy nuances. Benzoin is a workhorse that mixes beautifully with any other essence adding softness and sweetness. We add 20% organic alcohol to make it workable. So our benzoin is 80% benzoin resinoid and 20% organic ethanol.
