Very Rare and precious! English antique sterling silver patch box made by famous silversmith Colin Hewer Cheshire in 1889! Both side of the box are deeply embossed with an angel playing the flute to two love birds. Beautifully handmade in Birmingham, England. Has a ring which allows it to be worn as a locket. It has the following sterling makers marks: the "CC" maker mark for Colin Hewer Cheshire, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, and the Anchor Birmingham Assay Hallmark and the date letter "P" for 1889. Measures 1 inch diameter by 0.5 inches high, and the price includes 1/8 oz (4 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
