Flowers, feathers and shells decorate this deeply embossed, beautifully made sterling antique English patch box. Almost "chiseled" embossed flowers and shells adorn the tops and sides of the box. There is a central cartouche on top and it bears no monogram. The bottom of the box is covered with a deeply embossed feather pattern with a single flower in the center. One silver makers mark and the word "sterling" on the top rim. Inside the lid is a perfect mirror encircled with gold beading. and a gold wash inside. A tactile box of substantial and sumptuous gauge that feels good in the hand and closes with a satisfying snap. 1.75 inches across, and the price includes 1/4 oz (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
