Very Rare! Repoussé sterling snuff box depicting an enchanting scene from German folklore and embellished with 2 mythic satyrs! The repousse pattern on the lid depicts three women on a bridge enchanting a male figure with a town in the distance. A highly detailed repousse pattern surrounds the box featuring a scrolling pattern of vines and leaves and two magical satyrs. The interior of the box has a gold vermeil wash and is hallmarked "800" on the bottom inside.
