Very rare and handmade! Exquisitely embossed central bearded iris rendered in fine textured detail decorates an antique sterling silver French patch box. The beautiful embossed iris solitary blossom on the front has 2 buds and leaves in the background. Around the sides of the box, the main stem is carried down to a nascent bud with leaves on each side. Finely tooled texture marks cover the case. Two silver hallmarks on the inner and outer rim. Mirror in very good condition surrounded by gold beading. A tactile box of substantial and sumptuous gauge that feels good in the hand and closes with a satisfying snap. 1.5 inches across, and the price includes 1/4 oz (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
