(Styrax Tonkinsis from India) Our benzoin-absolute is wild-harvested and comes to us in beautiful hard crystalline chunks. We add 20% organic alcohol to make it workable. So our benzoin is 80% benzoin absolute and 20% organic ethanol. The aroma of this base note is a flat, soft, rich vanilla that mixes beautifully with any other essence adding softness and sweetness.
