Very rare! Precious Cupid and  Psyche cameo on a superb antique American sterling silver snuff box.  Made in 1840  by L.P Coe, a revered New York Silversmith. It has the L.P.Coe maker's mark and another hallmark on the bottom of the box. Psyche is carrying Cupid on her back as she is strewing flowers. The cameo is expertly carved into a blush pink Queen's conch shell.  Measures 1.1 inches by 0.9 inches, and the price includes 1/8 oz (4 ml) solid perfume of your choice.
